A Chicago couple who purchased a $1.36 million residence featured on the HGTV actuality present “Windy City Rehab” is suing to attempt to drive the present’s hosts to take again the home, which they are saying is suffering from leaks and shoddy work.
According to the lawsuit, the day after the patrons closed on the 4,000-square-foot luxurious residence in Lincoln Square, an upper-floor bathe leaked gallons of water into the kitchen ceiling under.
And issues solely obtained worse, the swimsuit says, with a leaky roof, poorly put in home windows and different points.
James and Anna Morrissey filed the lawsuit Dec. 30 in Cook County circuit courtroom, citing faulty and shoddy work, breach of contract, breach of guarantee and shopper fraud.
