That doesn’t seem to faze the Olympic gold medalist, though, as last week she shared a video of herself doing pulls, broken arm and all. Vonn shared on Twitter that all of this intense rehabilitation is being done in the hopes of returning to action next month. Judging by her broken arm pull ups, I wouldn’t bet against her reaching her goal. Thumbnail photo via Sergei Belski/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link

Bruins Sign Forward Jesse Gabriel To Three-Year Entry-Level Contract
Share this: The Boston Bruins added a bit of reinforcement Sunday for their offensive woes, signing 19-year-old forward Jesse Gabriel to a contract just hours after falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1. Boston announced the three-year, entry-level contract Sunday morning in a team release. Gabriel was selected in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft by Boston with the 105th overall pick. In 72 games for the Western Hockey League’s Prince George Cougars last season, the 6-foot, 205-pound forward scored 35 goals and 40 assists, registering 75 points on the season. He skated with the Providence Bruins for three games at the conclusion of his WHL season in 2016 on a professional tryout. This season, Gabriel had recorded 19 goals and 11
Frederik Andersen Comes Up Big For Maple Leafs With 32 Saves Vs. Bruins

Bruins’ Offensive Struggles Dominate Storyline In Loss Vs. Maple Leafs
Share this: The Boston Bruins didn’t have any problems creating chances in Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs — they had a 33-20 advantage in shots on goal — but their offense struggled to finish. “I think, when you look at what’s happening to us right now, when you can’t score, you can’t win hockey games,” coach Claude Julien told NESN’s Andy Brickley and Jack Edwards on “Bruins Overtime Live.” “You can create chances all you want, but if you’re not going to score, every goal that goes in against you is being dissected, and it kind of makes the guys second guess themselves and the confidence level isn’t there.” Hear more from Julien in the video above.
