The Dallas Cowboys confirmed their starting quarterback broke a bone in his back during Thursday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, and multiple reports are citing Romo’s timetable as a minimum six to ten week recovery period.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett insisted in a conference call with media members that Romo was “day to day,” according to NFL.com, but NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Pro Football Talk were among those reporting that was unlikely.
