Mike Ditka Probably Farted On Live TV; Cris Carter Can’t Believe It (Video)

Mike Ditka brought a new meaning to “The Windy City” on Monday. Possibly. Sitting in studio for ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” NFL Hall of Famer and legendary Chicago Bears tight end and coach Mike Ditka farted. On live TV. At least we think it was him, based on the reactions of everyone around him. Cris Carter’s utter shock and Chris Berman’s total disbelief (plus a sly grin from Ditka) sort of tell the story here, but the world may never know. It could have just been an odd technical malfunction or a fantastic prank. Then again, Ditka — who turned 76 Sunday — has earned the right to do whatever the heck

Daniel Murphy Leads Mets To NLCS With Sneaky Steal, Clutch Home Run (Videos)

Murphy’s Law states that if something bad can happen, it will. Daniel Murphy plays for the New York Mets, but it was the Los Angeles Dodgers he haunted Thursday night in Game 5 of the National League Division Series. With the Mets trailing by one run against Zach Greinke, the odds-on favorite to win the NL Cy Young Award, Murphy created a run when he took an extra base on a walk. He later scored to tie the game. A few innings later, Murphy again took things into his own hands, this time roping a line drive into the right field sears to put the Mets ahead for good. New York

Mets’ Daniel Murphy Hits Impressive Home Run Off Of Clayton Kershaw (Video)

Clayton Kershaw was going toe-to-toe with Mets’ ace Jacob deGrom during Game 1 of the teams’ National League Division Series on Friday, but that all changed when Daniel Murphy stepped into the batter’s box in the fourth inning. The Mets second baseman absolutely crushed a home run to right field off of Kershaw, giving the Mets a 1-0 lead at the time. Check out the towering home run for yourself in the video below. Colts Fans Plan To Taunt Tom Brady, Patriots In Dumbest Way Imaginable

A group of Indianapolis Colts fans are about to do something really dumb — perhaps wasting a lot of money in the process — in the hopes of rattling quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Good luck with that. A reader recently sent Barstool Sports an email relaying a separate email stating that Colts fans plan to fly a blimp over Lucas Oil Stadium next Sunday when New England and Indianapolis square off in a Week 6 rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game. The blimp apparently will display the message, #DeflateThisBrady, a clear play on the Patriots’ Deflategate scandal. There’s even a video to accompany the sa...

Matt Barnes On Derek Fisher: ‘We Were Good Friends At One Point’ (Video)

One day after news broke on the topic, Matt Barnes spoke to the media about the alleged incident over the weekend in which he drove over 90 miles to beat up former teammate and current New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher. To no one’s surprise, Barnes said a whole lot of nothing, but there was a bit of subtle shade thrown at Fisher. “We were friends,” Barnes said, when asked about his relationship with his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate. “We were good friends at one point.” When asked for clarification on if the two remained good friends, Barnes repeated the answer: “We were good friends at one point.” Barnes repeated...

Under Armour Puts Tom Brady ‘199’ Shirt On Sale, Immediately Sells Out

Under Armour debuted it’s new ad campaign featuring New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the Pats’ season-opening win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The commercial — which features Brady repeating the phrase “every single day” while working out in a shirt with the number “199” on it — was so popular that the company decided to sell copies of Brady’s shirt. Don’t get your hopes up if you wanted one, though: Under Armour has already sold out. Brady, of course, was taken 199th overall by New England in the 2000 NFL Draft out of Michigan.
